Pros
Lots of opportunities to learn and engage in interesting projects. Great reputation. This is a great place to work for a couple of years (if you can endure it!) with the objective of finding a good position in a much bigger corporation later.
Cons
Diversity and Inclusion plans are a joke; felt like a token employee most of the time as senior leadership would only ever take into account "diverse" members of the team in cases where a progressive front was needed for a project. Did not even received a formal onboarding process; relationship with HR is complicated and most of the time they won't even take your wellbeing into serious consideration. Don't even think about promotions - they are never happening unless you are in an office in Europe/UK/US and look and act a certain way. However, managers will expect you give your 200% all the time - this includes a mediocre pay and working long, long hours without real reward besides the weak promise of a promotion "sometime" in the future.

No word can describe how great my team and manager are! Everyone is always willing to help and let you grow within the team. Also, hierarchy in the team does not exist which makes it easy to reach out to even the most senior heads of the company. HR have also adjusted salaries to match inflation rates which is also a plus!
Cons
It takes a little long to climb the corporate ladder.

- Interesting projects and clients - International exposure - Great team culture (depending on your team)
Cons
- Bonus got slashed due to group structure change (which led to our group not hitting the target, even though our department did) - Political at the top, old boys club. - Firm is not run by professionals and business leaders - instead it's run by all the old boys (ie. former intelligence/military folk (who are great at what they do but not really at runnning business)

Really interesting work. Lots of good people around. In some roles, room for flexible development and initiative.
Cons
Company in some ways a leader in political risk (decades in industry, analysts over the world), but political risk team seems to be lowest priority in the business. As a consulting firm, workloads can be crazy. From my time there, it looked like career progression at higher levels was about sales and internal positioning. limited prospects if you're focused on delivery quality/performance.

Cons
There is nothing global about this company- it’s language, culture, communications, style and management team are all highly British in nature. If they are seeking to be diverse, they have missed the mark.
