Pros

Tons of overtime and great trainers....your training class becomes your family

Cons

Unorganized, unpredictable and unprofessional. Show up for your shift you may not have a desk. The supervisors can't help majority of the time because they didn't even go through the training first.

Pros

The recruitment is fair, often a chance will be given to you, you will be met at the destination airport (and 'cared for' from then on).Its perfect for the vast majority who don't have too much confidence once they left they home town or home land. You will receive a flat and a room and be told fairly to 'respect others' in the flat...ie not too much noise after 22.30, no dishes left in the kitchen sink for days. Then your training will begin, you need not be worried (although you are under some sort of benevolent (not nefarious) assessment). Just pay attention , doing your best each day.Your colleagues will come from various countries and often little local details about sights, beaches and bars are shared around.I think TP are one of the best in this outsourcing field and you do not get the feeling that you are in a cheap, nasty tyrannical company. On the contrary that give you time and if you fall short they will merely view you need more training or ultimately another project !

Cons

Sometimes the catering wasn't the best, leaving an unsettled stomach (or bowels). Some managers and only a few supervisors are a bit difficult to deal with. The aspects of the work in another language can be challenging, especially if you have responsibility and there are consequences to a 'misunderstanding'. Finishing late can be a hassle as Lisbon buses tend to wanna have bedtime after 21.00?So how to get home?

Pros

The pro's would be that you get an hour lunch break, you meet some great employees that work there and occasionally they reward their representatives with tokens of appreciation like Nacho Day to thank them.

Cons

The con's would be that you are surveyed by the customers and even if you have done everything to help the customer and have resolved the problem they may fail you or pass you and fail the company which according to Terrell that means they feel in love with the agent and not the company. You will be written up and coached even if the customer is upset about the prices which you cannot change.
