- Your PhD (if you have one) is merely a badge of reputation that they ask you to slap on the end of your emails to make up for their dreadful repuation in academia. - Endless monotony punctuated by mindless changes in strategy. - You will have to deal with a lot of corporate nonsense, zealous flag-waving is poured upon you from the executives and higher management. - You have to adhere to the discriminatory and poorly justified editorial board recruitment policies dictated to you by upper management.

Product leadership is highly unprofessional and at the verge of ridiculous. They have no experience in nor idea on what actual product management is, and keep hiring for related roles without even grasping key responsibilities. Furthermore, HR and Talent functions are also completely uncompetent and shady. A nightmare for skilled people.
