Pros

The small teams you work in are really great and super supportive. My manager was great when I was diagnosed with ADHD and more should be like her. The researchers! They are really lovely and to have the chance to build relationships with them was truly a plus.

Cons

Upper Management is terrible, they lie and omit truth and then expect employees to take it with a smile. Not to mention that during a time of layoffs, the CEO expected productivity to stay high and even shouted at managers for saying that team motivation was low. Bad and discriminatory strategies and really not thinking long term at all.

Not as gold as it seems

Pros

Pros: remote working, overall majority of the employees are supportive and work extremely hard

Cons

Unfortunately the cons are overwhelmingly outrun by the cons: - senior leaders who lack basic people skills and put an extreme amount of pressure down the chain. The leadership team lives in the constant fear of who is above, whose personal opinions count more than data. - lack of basic business understanding: the Company has scaled up massively, but without relying on leaders who have any business knowledge. This translates into caos and uncertainty, together with unreasonable requests to those down the chain.

Pros

Team members are lovely, immediate managers are kind and understanding, work schedule is relatively flexible, the job tasks are not difficult.

Cons

Upper management has completely lost touch with those under them and they are repeatedly bashing this fact into employees with every team meeting, but I'm not sure if they are just denying the obvious to feel better about themselves or are truthfully this out of touch. When I began, I felt like I had found a really excellent company with values I agreed with, but in just a few months, my role simply turned into a glorified call center job. We were given opportunities to feedback this negative opinion, but to be clear, it was thrown back in our face in the next meeting with phrases like, "everyone loves what we're doing." I am glad to have gotten out when I did, as the chaos simply continued to multiply.
