Pros

- Half day friday (you have to work more during the week).

Cons

- Recent positive reviews are made by managers and HR people, instructed to raise the score in glassdoor due to the difficult they have to find new talent. - Mid level management is there because of their friendship with higher level managers. Make the proper friends and you will get promoted, even if you are not qualified for it, like having no people skills. - A culture of lying to employees, managers blaming others of their incompetence is what's common. - A manager say to me once that a display of commitment and good performance was to work extra hours constantly (without expecting extra payment ofc). - Mediocre salaries. - If you manage to get a decent salary when recruited, then they will freeze it during following years saying that your payment is high compared to others in your same level. - Old tech stack. There are plans and work oriented to change this, but a very few chosen ones work in that, the other hundreds work in the old and poorly written codebase. - They can't manage to hire a FE architect, they have been trying during at least 3 years and clearly no one with the tech level required will work for them. - This is a tech born company that now is under business and old minded people, that's why proper tech oriented competitors are winning market over edreams, like Kiwi.com... work at Kiwi instead!

Pros

In this company you will meet and face an environment that will transform you, fast paced and chaotic. You will become stronger and resilient, with this you will surely be able to survive and succeed in any future work place. There good men and women across all locales. I loved my role but.....

Cons

Zero privacy and confidentiality: any topic of conversation both personal/professional are regularly laundered around at all levels. There are few Managers and/or HR representatives that you could count upon. Little or zero training provided, often the company cherry picks and is generally unfair, especially to those outside of HQ Barcelona. At all levels, in all locales pandemonium is rife. Changes and new procedures are poorly executed, materials poor thus leaving most trapped in a time warp and lost. Conflict between senior management meaning directors results in a culture of fear and loathing amongst teams that must work together (co-located or otherwise) are often at odds and never listen to each other. Lack of leadership, trust and empathy results in high levels of anxiety and stress for many. The kinds of language used and cascaded down the ranks has been highly unprofessional. Many seems to work excessively for little reward and renumeration, although your role may include on call availability _anserw of emails and phone) this should not equate to what I have witnessed. I honestly cannot think of many happy people, this is often the one thing that binds and helps teams bond - sad right.

Pros

Some teams are really good people but it’s not enough to stop you getting sick about your day by day.

Cons

I don't know who is writing last positive reviews. It's obvious we are not working for the same company. Suspect it's a part of HR initiative asking employees to pump up a shameful rating as they struggle to hire with that reputation and that salaries. CEO ..... I edited this comment many times to comply with “no excessive aggression” rule.....but gosh how difficult it was. Untalented, despotic and explosive individual who surrounded himself by mediocre managers scared to death to say NO o not being quick enough to say YES. Less inspirational and uncharismatic leader ever. Execs run like crazy at his first words without understanding what they are doing, giving contradictory indications to the teams. All the culture is a consequence of this. It is ok to be rude and bullish in the meetings, better if CEO can see you. It is considered as a sign of effective, capable manager who has all situation under control. Managers mostly don’t care about their teams well being, nobody will help you to grow or just have regular conversations with you. Exceptions are few. Strategy is convulsive and fragmented. Plans are chaotic and many. Because of this some teams have huge pressure to deliver something that clashes with other teams. People burn out quickly, if somebody leaves no one cares and in the last year tens of colleagues left including middle and senior management. Probably this company is on sale in few months, that’s the only explanation to such suicidal business and people management.
