Pros

None that literally any other company can't offer you. Unless you like kale chips and awkward happy hours.

Cons

Where to begin? I worked at OPSWAT for a year and can truly say I learned absolutely nothing, didn't further my career in any way, or really make that many valuable connections. The whole sales org is poorly structured, in the sense there is little to no structure at all. The dictatorship you keep reading about in other reviews is spot on. I've never seen or heard of so many people quitting or getting fired in the short amount of time that I worked there. Im talking about entire departments getting fired bc upper management doesn't agree with them. Once you're settled in and finished with your 1 day of training (I can only speak for sales on this but you get no training on the complex products they sell so you better come in with prior knowledge or you'll be lost) you'll feel like you're walking on eggshells for the duration of your employment there. Company culture is awkward and whatever upper management says goes. It's just such a toxic work environment that I cannot stress enough to please work literally anywhere else. Clean the sewers, work in a coal mine, or on an oil rig in the middle of nowhere bc any of those options will be better for you. For the love of God, please listen to these reviews and pick a different company to work for.

Pros

Met and worked with some great people who will be lifelong friends.

Cons

I honestly never took GlassDoor reviews seriously nor would have written one until now. The reviews you see are accurate, so if after reading you decide to hire on, shame on you. If you are looking for an experience where every professional decision you make is questioned to the point where you start doubting your tenure as a professional and start feeling belittled and undervalued, this is the place for you. You will be working 24/7 under the watchful eye and cameras and be blamed for poor management decisions. Your talent and creativity will not be valued, and it will take you months to overcome the PTSD if you’re able to muster enough energy to leave, only to find yourself thinking you are not capable of working anywhere because you’ve been brainwashed into thinking you’re incapable. If you are a person with any sense of integrity, stay away. The work environment is toxic.

Pros

The pros are few. Some not even directly tried to the company. PROS: Whole Foods and some life-long friendships. Experience for your resume.

Cons

Hi OPSWAT employees, I know everyone there waits for these reviews to publish. Either that or you're applying for a job at OPSWAT. Big mistake- This place is 1 star. It's a garbage shoot. The CEO is insane. I mean clinically insane. The employees are severely underpaid. When I switched jobs my salary literally doubled. The turnover rate is unreal, the morale is so low. There is a major lack of diversity in the office to the point where it's uncomfortable. The product is a joke. I wouldn't recommend working here to anyone I love and care about. Stay far far away. Summary of cons: Management, morale, CEO, technology, boring

We also take pride in the team that helps to bring about one of the best cyber-security products on the market. We always ask any employees to come talk to HR about any recommendations where we might improve our culture.
