Thank you for the review; we value feedback from colleagues past and present so whilst it’s good to hear that you enjoyed working with your team, it’s disappointing that you felt frontline teams weren’t listened to. We make it our business to encourage listening and to support each other. Whether that’s through our regular employee surveys, ‘open door’ approaches or just through conversations and day-to-day work with colleagues and managers. You mention new contracts: we work in a complex, fast changing world which involves delivering contracts that usually have a start and an end. Sometimes, when big contracts are coming to an end the future can feel uncertain. But we have ambitious goals for the future and plans to get there. Our new business team are busy! And they have been very successful over the years, including in the last few months – we’ve just secured several large contracts in the employment and health sectors. I agree, our people really care about the service they provide and the difference they make to the lives of our participants. Our managers in Scotland lead a fantastic team and I’m glad you enjoyed being part of it. On flexible working, we have done a lot of work on this as we received quite a lot of feedback from colleagues about how we could be more flexible. We’ve now introduced a new flexible working policy that is proving really popular amongst teams. We’re committed to listening to feedback and taking action in this way as much as we can: our people are our biggest asset and we want to create a positive, engaging workplace where they can thrive.
