Pros

Great pay and decent benefits.

Cons

Entirely a "cvoer yourself" scenerio with no real investment in community, culture, or training. It is all lip-service and being able to point to performance on paper with little real world consideration. For basic team members, it is a stable job with good pay. For middle management, it is cut-throat and needlessly stressful. The pay is a trap. Company culture is confusing and not at all a part of everyday life in any real way.

Pros

co-worker discount. great exercise, eliminates any need for a gym membership. $3 co-worker meal deal every shift. strong co-worker camaraderie. the products are awesome and fun to sell.

Cons

nearly impossible to break into mgmt no matter how 'high potential' you are considered. draconian attendance policy--9 occurrences (unplanned absence or tardy even ONE minute) & you're out, regardless of how far you drive, if your car breaks down, it's blizzarding outside, death in the family. no exceptions. scheduling is all over the place. shifts range from 4-10 hrs, from 8am-11pm. CLOPENING - when you close and then open the very next day. this should be against labor laws. job performance doesn't mean anything to them. they'll suck you dry.

Pros

The benefits and PTO are very competitive.

Cons

The culture here is some of the most bizarre and most toxic places I have EVER worked. Communication is horrendous, leadership at the top is often incompetent. The turnover rate, even for retail, is some of the highest I have ever experienced anywhere. They also do NOT develop their coworkers, instead they don't provide opportunities and then gaslight the coworkers by telling them "your development is up to you," but do nothing to be helpful in fostering that development. They are notorious for hiring externally, as well, and hire people who are far from qualified.
