Pros

The upmost positive reason is to try to avoid "needing" (I do understand that since Spain is economically on its butt) to work here. Lousy lies all aound since I have no clue of anyone ever gained an interesting bonus as stated in da CEO`s claim here on Glassdoor. There are simply no bonusses unless you do "some kind of homework" (tiering) or if you s.a. (I really cannot write it completely, but use your imagination - the a stands for ........ right under your back ... the "s" is what you do on a tasty ice-cream) . As some of the comments already mention the wages are "far behind" ... and the worst part of this is that it is Company policy. They came to BCN because wages are low, but nevertheless they ask a lot from you and you are under a full time control. (Smart) People disappear and leave the company, and there is no back-up, they are hardly substituted. .... sinking ship ?

Cons

The upmost challenge to work here is to try to get outta here as soon as possible, even the "team managers" (woooaaaw) and the "delivery managers" (even 'woooaaaw-er') tell you that, because they, with all the responsabilities they are given, think that their wage is far too miserable, what happens they usually do more of the a.s.. and have an ok life, so .... why bother.

Pros

- You get a regular salary, not a particularly good one, but a salary nonetheless. - You might meet a few decent people along the way, which you will want to stay in contact with and could help you in later life for personal or professional purposes. - If you are the type of person management like there are some opportunities for progression in the company. - You get some OK additional benefits. - The company is generally organised and generally it has a professional feel to it from the outset (it could be worse) and there is structure and organisation. It´s not total chaos. - The company itself is quite good but I think the HR and management let it down.

Cons

- The “management style” is autocratic and top-down, which is quite a contradiction to the values and the management style communicated on the website and in the recruitment communications. - I have personally known multiple people who have suffered mental and even resulting physical problems as a result of their treatment at the company. These include stress due to the frustration, emotional pressure and depression. - You will be exploited as far as the managers can push you, including doing work that is outside of your reasonable scope and doing other peoples´ work without fair reimbursement or compensation. They will also try to force you to do this extra work despite what you say or try to negotiate. - Management do make false promises to trick you into doing more work or fulfilling certain criteria only to then go back on their word later. - You should get used to an environment of little to no rewards or incentives and in general you will be negatively criticised on virtually every aspect of your work with basically no acknowledgment or praise for the good work you have done. You will be micro-managed to a high level on virtually everything you do. - There are many honest, intelligent and hardworking people who put in a lot of effort and produce a lot for the company only to feel exploited and manipulated and then leave. If they give their honest opinions on some of the things that happen there or the things that don´t work so well, will be bullied, threatened and targeted by the management with the intent of being removed at some point in the future. - The managers and a select few of their close minions are very cliquey and will back each other up and cover each other´s backs in plain view, even when being hypocritical or downright unfair to their subordinates. This involves management to subordinate and subordinate to subordinate relations. - If you are not in this select “in-group” you are basically part of the “general herd” and you will basically be treated like that; cattle. In general the regular workers are treated with little or no respect, treated like children and like disposable cannon fodder. - How do you get into the “in group”? Basically you will be rewarded and treated with positive discrimination for; bad mouthing and grassing up teammates, agreeing with everything the management says even if it is professionally or ethically wrong (yes we are talking lies, bullying, discrimination, manipulation, exploitation etc.). - Even though the management say feedback and your opinion counts, it´s not a good idea even if you think you will help improve things, you will be put on the managers´ ”hit list” and what comes next is bullying and unfair discrimination and eventually the worker will have enough and will leave (i.e. forced out). - If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself in such a position you can expect some of the following treatments: disproportionate and unfair work demands placed upon you, high workload placed upon you, taking away responsibilities, taking away workload and given menial tasks and uncomfortable shifts given (which they know you don´t like). - Further tactics also include: excessive monitoring, unfair treatment compared to other workers and managers, increased negative criticism towards the worker, the halting of career or training progression, personal moral degradation and any other useful tactic that the managers can use against you. You will also be threatened with loss of your job. - The management will literally try to instil fear into you with psychological tricks and their behaviour towards you. I have seen the fear in peoples´ faces, and other people physically shaking as a result of manager contact. This is not nice to see or experience in the workplace and is frustrating, tiring, stressful and emotionally draining. - The management prefer to employ these tactics rather than actually address any problems, which is the art of fine management in my opinion. I say this because I have seen friends and colleagues suffer and it´s not right or fair. Every person that I can think of that has left the company has left with a bad taste in their mouth and feels outdone, exploited, cheated and cannot stand to work in such a frustrating and unprofessional environment any more.

Pros

free coffee. Free fruit 1 day of every month

absolutely inept team leaders with little to no knowledge of IT as a whole. Profit before people approach no transparency in decision making. A very clique-like set-up. Favouritism at all levels.
