Pros

"Unlimited" PTO (although I've never taken more than 9/10 days off a year .... because work just piles up and it waits for you when you return; + hybrid / work from home option

Cons

left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. exe / sr management are intelligent enough, but they're running a sprint, while the worker-bees are head down chipping away at their 2+ yr long sales cycle opportunity ( on 2 totally different pages) also, the life'ers (and there are many) make the org dull, disproportionate, less innovative, and weighed-down by closed-minded biases; and lastly, most internal projects are cumbersome and require major heavy lifting

Pros

Flexible time off is nice. Most of my peers were great people.

Cons

It's the worst run PMO in IT. Management is terrible. Moral is very low. Good employees leave or get fired for trying to do their job. This is not a place to work if you have respect for yourself. Managers have no loyalty and will throw you under the bus. It's poorly run and disorganized.

While I'm glad to see your pros, I can't look past the cons and advice you've shared. Since I've joined TU, I've made it a priority to try getting to know everyone and be accessible to our people. I want the same for my leadership team and I'm disappointed to see your experience wasn't what I would expect out of our tech org. If there's additional context you'd like to share, I hope you'll reach out to me so I can address it. - Abhi Dhar, Chief Information and Technology Officer

Pros

Excellent executive leadership - I hope the CTO is drinking from the fountain of youth so he can stay forever. Almost unparalleled medical and FTO benifits. The company continues to innovate and expand which creates an exciting place to work with strong future growth in the industry

Cons

Like many organizations the white late 40’s early 50’s male rules. There is very limited diversity where some teams do not have any female leadership or female team members.

I really appreciate you taking time to leave a candid review and share your honest experience. We have such an awesome culture at TransUnion, so it concerns me to think that anyone would feel limited in their career in any way. Please know that having a diverse and inclusive workplace is not just something we talk about - it's something we expect. We'll continue to work on this. In the meantime, please reach out to me so I can learn more about your experience and how to help. - Anne Leyden, EVP HR
