Working as a content moderator at Tiktok has been a discouraging experience. Despite dedicating over a year to the role, the lack of salary increase and recognition is disheartening. The management's expectation of contributing to the industry without any tangible rewards leaves little room for motivation. The high standards set for the job are not met with corresponding appreciation or growth opportunities. A more equitable and supportive approach to employee development and compensation would significantly improve the workplace culture and morale.

Messy management, bad shift schedules and timings. Extremely difficult to get promoted. Management forces you to come up with projects, no matter how small and stupid, for the sake of performance review. If you don't have projects under your belt, you get a bad grade.
