Pros

Compensation is the one thing that keeps employees in for as long as they can. They play the game of happy go lucky but are struggling with burnout behind the scenes

Cons

Pays well but at the cost of sacrificing your own mental health. Health insurance is costly. It only cares about numbers. Lots of turnovers. PTO is minimal. 18 days per year, which includes sick and annual leave. After one year, you buy an additional 5 days. You buy time off? Ridiculous! Take the job if work-life balance is not important to you.

Pros

Cigna is 100% work from home.

Cons

So training is horrible. You submit surveys but it comes from your email, id# so you really can't be honest. There is no after work or time out for rest room or if you need to make emergency call. So most importantly is you have to learn a total of 9 systems to look up customer claims, eobs, send tasts, look up checks etc. Then its so many changes every year. How can anyone give correct information to a customer with the large amount of systems to review. Qcare system is IDX or 1970 DOS system. Way too much.

Pros

Health benefits, Work from home. Can be a great job with decent earning potential, depending on your manager and how resource management handles your schedule.

Cons

Job description is very different then what was actually received. Every single contact you have at Cigna once employed MUST go through your manager even disputes with said manager. Constant, never ending phone time. So much so that when you lose your voice from speaking so much, your then forced to take PST to get off of phones. Meanwhile, you have co workers who havnt taken calls in months.
