Pros

The paycheck arrives in my bank account every 2 weeks.

Cons

The culture is bone chillingly reptilian. Every decision is about money- no one thinks of our members well being. The company is ending remote work. Communications for this have been patronizing at best. Executive leadership does not live on planet earth. I expect layoffs to follow if enough people don’t quit. Return to office will cause major brain drain as the best and brightest exit. No way I’m here in 6 months.

Pros

None anymore with return to office policy

Cons

Broad policy that most will have to return to an office even though many were remote well before Covid. Roll out and communicate of this have been extremely insulting.

Pros

Cigna's leadership is sharp. The CEO David Cordani is a brilliant guy and he seems to surround himself with very sharp and capable people. They are heavily geared toward growth and always looking for ways to expand upon current offerings to strategically tie them to new opportunities to increase revenue and earnings. Pay is good and benefits are good too. Good performance is usually recognized but...

Cons

Cigna is a LARGE company and politics are a huge element of climbing the ladder. Also remember that large companies have to contain a certain amount of political correctness too so if that's not your bag you may find it a little off-putting as Cigna has more than their fare share. Sometimes there are territorial maneuverings among certain leaders/divisions which can cause frustration at the Director, Manager and Associate level due to mission creep but it kind of goes with the territory.
