Changed to hybrid schedule after working from home for over a decade with no benefit to being in office

Pros

I work in the operations sector as a case management analyst, and some of the best things about it is that my schedule is flexible, in terms of needing whatever days I need off for PTO - my team emphasizes mental health and self care. My team and supervisor are laid back, and you always learn something new to continue to grow in your career.

Cons

Pay could be better for the type of work and projects requested. I just had my yearly review and all goals were exceeded on a personal and company level, however, my pay increase was minuscule in comparison. Also, even though I strictly work from home, I'm disappointed that the CEO decided to make 90% of employees in office. This means limited career opportunities, which means that new positions you would be interested in could be strictly held in another city or another state. Not only that, the work can easily be done at home. If anything, executives should have given employees a choice on either working remotely or in office.

Pros

After ten years of hard work Im finally in a higher position that has a flexible schedule.

Cons

I haven’t hardly received a decent raise in 10 years while I’ve consistently moved up the ladder into higher positions. They keep moving the goal post. There’s always a “reason” out of their hands as to why I can’t get a decent pay raise. I’ll have my project management degree in a few months and was told there will be no raise for me earning a degree. They tell me I’m doing great but never pay me like I’m doing great.
