Pros

I only stay because of the friends I have made there.

Bullying is encouraged, it's appalling to see how some of the staff are treated over others. It is jobs for the boys. Advisors are treated very poorly by senior managers. The stas given to us for a repetitive job adds to the stress. The pay is minimum wage, the shifts are ridiculous and have no work life balance. There is NO company sick pay and no chance of a payrise. I have had no one to one coaching from my manager in over a year, yet I'm still meant to hit target? The managers are unsupportive to their teams and they would rather sack you then do anything to help you. The "canteen" is overcrowded. God help you if you have to go to reception and ask for some change for the machine. They are rude and talk to you like you are something they stepped in. Overall, just avoid it at all costs.

Pros

Some nice people on the call floor.

Cons

Managers aren't the brightest and can have a bad attitude. Shift pattern was bad, working to 11pm then in next morning at 8am. They had an attitude towards you if you didn't agree to overtime. The work is highly repetitive, mentally exhausting and essentially mental torture. Not convinced there is an HR department given some of the things said on the call floor and the way staff behaved victimising CSAs because of personal dislikes. Incentives were pathetic - e.g. four cans of cider or a packet of crisps. Humiliating to a degree. Ridiculous targets put into the calls. Not worth the stress or the poor pay.

Pros

-Great place to make friends and getting to know different people -Great for learning skills before moving on to better jobs (technical support related) -Environment is very hands-on and positive. -Career advancement opportunities -Decent benefits

Cons

-10-hour shifts for lower wages -Extreme bureaucracy in management/workforce -Unprofessional management staff -Terrible facilities - a call center company with such a large amount of staff should have a much better place for operations. -Staff not adequately trained to perform their daily duties.
