There is little to point to today that reflects sustainable value creation within the organization. From both a cultural and leadership standpoint, the foundation has weakened — not due to a lack of effort from individuals, but because of structural misalignment and inconsistent strategic direction. Recent leadership additions, many brought in through acquisitions or external hiring, appear to have been placed into an environment without the alignment or support required for success, effectively setting them up to struggle rather than lead meaningful transformation.
If the current trajectory continues, TELUS Health risks eroding its brand presence in the US market and diminishing the credibility it once held with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Without a clear recalibration of leadership accountability, cultural cohesion, and market strategy, the organization may face long-term reputational challenges that will be difficult to reverse.
