Pros
- Remote work allows you to work from home all the time - pay was decent and you got yearly increases - the teams were engaging and excited - lots of fun committees you could join - the work you did was nice. I worked on the digital analytics portion of telus.com - Good benefits (althought they did reduce them at one point a bit) - Supportive managers and directors
Cons
- The uncertainty made me leave. People were always getting laid off and you never knew if you were next. If this wasnt the case I would had stayed there my whole career. They would do some big restructurings every year but throughout there were still mini layoffs that occured to individuals every 3 weeks or so. I saw 4 close colleagues that I worked with laid off within a year and they were pretty important members, while others that I still worked closely with and didn't have much impact did not get impacted.
