      TELUS - could be worse, but could be a lot better

      Pros

      - strong social / environmental policies - lots of people work there for years/decades - the least bad of the big 3 canadian telecoms - AI leadership

      Cons

      - tough time at TELUS due to stock price and market pressure. Many rounds of layoffs over the past 2-3 years. - poor work life balance for many, especially directors and up - don't expect anyone to change. TELUS mgmt very set in their ways. - Engagement survey is poorly done. Groups with lower engagement are punished, and paid less. - a truly joyless place to work
