Pros

- Stable company - Benifits and Pension - Good product - Stock options - Training

Cons

- Heavy workload over pressurized - Company expects all of your time - Management and Directors use bullying as a means to "encourage" engagement - Jobs being moved outside of Canada (Telus does not give where they live) - Poor employee morale - Darren Entwistle is as evil of a Psycopath as you will find in a coproprate setting ( FIFO Darren) - On-going mandatory overtime cutting into people's worklife balance - Wages that do not keep up to inflation - Mass layoffs - Toxic and hypocritical work environment - The company employs people over seas who's work life conditions are completely unethical and immoral - Baganining unit is being destroyed with each consecutive contract signing - lockouts are a real reality and ongoing reality - Telus monitors public social media for negative employee reviews and will fire them if not in accordance with their desired PR image

Cons

Unfair work life balance, under appreciated, just a number to managers, current contract offer by telus contradicts the value of their employees

Pros

Great benefits, good work/life balance. Ability to work remotely is definitely a plus. Fairly good opportunities for advancement or at least lateral moves to new business units.

Cons

When I first started at TELUS, I was proud to work there. It certainly felt as though they valued their team members, putting people before profits. That feeling has eroded over the last five years as they systematically decimate the overall morale and engagement by cutting workforce and overloading the remaining team members.
