Pros

Discounts on services and products for yourself.

Cons

The CEO is a thief, he gives all of his close friends and their families FREE services for their home internet, fibre TV service and wireless cell service plus devices at not just their primary homes but his friends business and vacation homes, that some of them rent out with those free services being included as part of their HIGH rent/ lease agreements. Management does not have or try to create a safe work culture. As the amount of bullying is so high that even worksafeBC and worksafeAlberta turn a blind eye to it. The unions are toothless against the company these days. So employees are scared about losing their jobs if they complain about anything. From the sexual harassment to the physical abuse and the excessive mental wellbeing abuse of others be that ones who are identified or not. The company laughs at the stock market laws as they manage and encourage their employees to mark accounts incorrectly so that for every item added to an account even if there is no amount charged, the stocks see such as another customer product/ service order which is how these companies stock price goes up based on these as supposed assets. These have all been reported to the different provincial and federal regulators and or authorities over 20+ years to no avail unfortunately. Not a company that I would recommend to anyone looking for their services or employment these days which is unfortunate as I left the company after 27 years of which the last 7 were absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking for what all the new hires had deal with from lower management to the top management folks. Everyone was simply counting down the minutes until they can retire, find a better job or win the lottery.

Pros

Decent salary and bonus program

Cons

The Health division at TELUS is heavily top-heavy, with leadership lacking the necessary experience in managing health services. As a result, unrealistic expectations are placed on the sales team, who are often blamed for leadership's own missteps. Rather than recognizing the complexities of health solutions, management approaches everything with a transactional mindset, similar to selling mobile plans. This disconnect creates a frustrating work environment where strategic guidance is lacking, and accountability is misplaced
