Three 20 minute breaks (not a minute more) per shift, takes some getting used to but ok in the end. A lot of talk about career opportunities are simply just lies. 99% of people won't get any promotion whatsoever unless you are a) a Bulgarian b) you suck up to a Bulgarian c) ideally b & c People who call themselves "managers" are mostly Bulgarians who have no right/skills/experience to be in such positions. They like to stick together and "help" each other eg. helping you find an apartment really means that the man "helping" you, will take a nice percentage from the real estate agency, because they are friends. Lastly, don't take it if you really don't have to, but if you do, definitely!!! ask diplomatically for more money. You will regret you didn't.

Too much internal politics which has not been kept in check and continues to erode the once great company culture. Team Managers with long tenure are playing favourites and will not accept a POV from someone new or one thats diff from their own. Especially on the Telus Health side people are hiring their friends from the outside and ignoring talent within the company. Stressful, long hours with fictitious unrealistic deadlines.
