Pros

Work is interesting and you feel you are progressing science Nice colleagues who are passionate about the job

Cons

Low pay especially considering very high workload and high pressure. They say they benchmark across industry standards but we don’t find that true compared to competitors

Thank you for sharing. Our work and contributions in research continues to be the cornerstone of progress, and we are proud to open doors to discovery through trusted brands and innovative products and services. We do review our pay and packages and you may have seen we announced this week that the flex fund for the UK will be increased starting 1 January 2026 - giving us all even more support with the cost of benefits and living.

Pros

Good place to work if you like a stable working environment and not too much change. Work life balance is good and there are genuine efforts to improve things like the gender pay gap and diversity in leadership. Most colleagues are talented and pleasant to work with.

Cons

Senior leadership can be risk averse following the IPO.
