Pros

Inspiring purpose & industry, truly global w/ highly diverse teams working across borders but still integrated, high levels of communication & exchange between management & employees and among employees, employee networks and groups allowing engagement in whatever topic you feel passionate, authentic focus on discovery & learning, high levels of self-discretion re: tasks and what to take on to contribute, high share of very smart people very open to collaborate & contribute, recent changes in Senior Management bringing fresh wind and change into the right direction, consistent levels of investment into future areas, comparably flexible WfH frame

Cons

Highly complex structure combined w/ low process culture = whether you get all the information you need highly depends on your manager and needs self-initiative, it might be that similar things are worked on in different places + at times long-decision processes due to number of senior managers up to ExCo involved; center of gravity still in Western Europe which only recently changes w/ India & China becoming more important - before then, any career went through Western Europe

Pros

Independence, intellectual stimulation, hybrid work

Cons

work/life balance, lack of flexibility - office presence required once a week without the ability to stack days, for example to go in 3 days in a row every three weeks.

Thank you for sharing. It's indeed a stimulating culture with a company full of dedicated, curious, passionate and highly trained colleagues. Without them we simply wouldn't be able to deliver on our overall mission to help solve some of the World's greatest challenges. Our flexibility and supportive culture make it a unique and we value our people and strive to offer transparency around career development and progression. Our hybrid work from home policy is generally popular and we feel important for our culture that we still maintain colleague connections in the office as well as home working.
