Pros

• Free snacks and drinks, However they changed the snacks vendor few months back and new snacks are unhealthy compared to previous vendor . • Pool table • Work from home when needed • Pretty good work life balance • Worker bees are some of the humble and smart people I have met

Cons

Career growth and Internal Opportunities:: No opportunity for growth, you will find people stuck at same designation for 4-5 yrs. If you are hired it is likely you will stay in same role untill you quit. This company was started by local enterprenur about 10-12 years ago. After it was aquired by now parent company Solera the work culture has degraded,Previously if you keep your head down and delivered you would get noticed and rewarded. Now you will need additional politics skills to move up or to get a raise. Nepotism is rampant, internal opportunities will not be open for other deserving candidates to apply if for that slot upper management has buddy candidate who is interested. It will be filled up via backdoor. Not uncommon to see B players promoted over others. Raises:: 2%-3% raises once every 2-3 yrs that too if you ask continuously for couple of years. If you ask for a raise ,here are few of the answers you will get 1) Our review cycle starts in January so you should approach then. 2) We gave you a raise last year, so we really need to consider others on the team this time 3) You are already paid at market level, you need to prove why you deserve more Best way to ask a raise is to Quit and ask them to match what you are getting else where. Though HR had a meeting to "realign/review" compensation and titles, and some in engineering seems to have gotten raises this year. Many times you will be asked to make a Lamborghini from Toyota Corrola parts. If you work hard and manage to make a Lexus you will not get a raise because you failed to build a Lamborghini. Your Life at Autopoint :: Essentially your life at autopoint will be determined by who is your manager. Managers in Ops and BI team are good. So if you get to work with these two definately join this company. They will guide you ,support you when you need help. Other managers are technically weak and because they are technically weak they can't architect new systems on their own. Or guide their team when they need technical help. However they are engineering managers, who are supposed to be highly technical. So if something fails they will go after you and blame you to save their back. they can put you on spot in weekly sprint review meetings which has 30 people attending.

Pros

Nobody beats you, Low stress 9-5(ish) hours, with 'flexibility' although it's hard to be flexible when you can't get in the office outside the hours presented.

Cons

No pay rises, not even cost of living ones. Agile is the other agile (ie not really agile at all) No one talks to each other. No social culture, except at biannual "parties" "Training" is a joke, don't even ask. Most of the job is keeping the chair warm.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It doesn’t sound like you’re having a great time with us and we’re very sorry to hear that. Your manager and our HR team are always open to have a conversation with you to discuss any concerns you have. We appreciate this isn’t the best of places to update you but there are a couple of things we thought you’d find useful. Our offices open from 5am in the morning and we close at 8pm at night, Monday to Friday. We’re also open Saturday and Sunday for your convenience. I hope this helps a little bit. We’re really happy to discus with you your other concerns, let’s see if we can sort thing out for you. Thanks for reading; David
