      Free snacks Casual dress code (but no shorts allowed, even in the heat of summer)

      Cons

      Incestuous management culture where the managers spend all day High-Five'ing each other (literally) while they have endless meetings to talk about why nothing ever actually gets done. No raises. Ever. No promotions - you will be in your current position until you quit.

      Pros

      The work environment is very good, food is provided for everyone, gym and very good benefits, well-paid, the projects are very interesting and challenging and the people who you work with are very helpful and really know their stuff. You're not expected to stay after 4 pm so you can have a very good work/life balance.

      Cons

      It's too far away from Dallas and they're moving even farther away in a year or so.

      Going Downhill Fast; Crash Imminent

      Pros

      Really nice co-workers (though most have left for better jobs elsewhere), local managers do what they can to make the environment bearable.

      Cons

      Upper management is being forced into a crash-n-burn scenario by the Solera CEO. CEO is just trying to milk every last dime out of the company before it dies. No lower, mid, or upper manager I've personally spoken with has any faith in the direction they're being forced to go in. There is zero percent chance of success, everyone knows it, no one can do anything about it. Very very sad to see a company that was built up over 30 years by very hard-working and dedicated people get gutted and destroyed.
