      Pros

      I have worked for SiteMinder for more than a year in the Sydney HQ and I have really enjoyed it. My manager and all of the other leaders I have contact with are really reasonable and there is a culture of helpfulness and support. The two founders work out on the floor with everyone else and they are very approachable and friendly. Teams seem to work well together to achieve. The office environment has a great social atmosphere with Friday night drinks and other regular events. The office itself is in great location in downtown Sydney with views of the harbour. Interview process - The interview process took a while but was pretty straightforward with a phone screen and then a couple of in person interviews. The interview questions were honest and not tricky! :)

      Cons

      The office is fairly crowded and could do with a refresh. There are not enough bathrooms, showers and changerooms for the employees, who are all fairly active. Also the Sydney office is actually split over three separate offices. They are close to each other but would be great to be in one large office together. This is all, I suspect, due to the rapid growth of the company and hopefully will change in the near future.

      Pros

      Decent base, but difficult to get commission. But they do let you drink as many beers as you want on Friday afternoons.

      Cons

      Difficult to get commission and easy to get placed on a 30-day performance plan. Meaning you're under the microscope to get fired.

      Great company, poor culture

      Pros

      Great, hard working staff..... I made lots of good friends. Management is sometimes good. Good office location.

      Cons

      Poor decisions in relation to letting staff go and internal promotions. There were lots of people that left purely because of poor managers, and inability to make a solid impact on the product. The workplace culture has been going downhill for a while, and has become somewhat toxic.
