Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Would love to learn more about what scalable SOP's you think would work well in SiteMinder org context and open this up for discussion. Also keen learn a little more about what perks of training tools/opportunities you would like to see outside of the internal trainings?

Pros

Benefits Free drinks on Friday Flexibility Some very nice people

Cons

If there's nothing to do you just sit there and wait that the time goes No career progression cause they keep promoting their own friends Managers and Team Leaders are not clear about the future of London Office since they recently opened a new one in Galway and a few Seniors and Managers have already been asked to move to Ireland The initial training is very disappointing

Pros

People are nice, the Friday drinks are a great way to socialise Quite flexible in terms of time, the company generally trusts you to do a good job A good stepping stone/place to learn

Cons

Little to no internal comms from execs. I know they are working on it now but still most information gets passed around through office gossip No investment in growth/upskilling/training of existing staff (I'm guessing due to budget constraints). A lot of talk of things 'coming soon'.. attempts seem quite superficial.. staff don't feel valued Salary is quite low compared to rest of tech sector Prefer to hire externally than upskill existing staff A lot of egos and internal politics, people siloed into their own areas of work

This is really rich feedback, thank you. I agree we want our staff feel valued and your suggestions are helpful. There has been a big focus this financial year on improving our comms and giving the team more transparency which hopefully you have felt. At the risk of talking about things that are "coming soon" I am personally working with my team on an internal Careers Fair to help people navigate the opportunities available to them internally. The intent is to support career development initiatives and assist people in identifying the right courses to help them learn and grow. We are working to roll this out in all locations by April. I'd also be happy to chat with you about training if you'd like to discuss further? I'm at charlie.milne@siteminder.com
