Pros

Money, working from home and unlimited PTO.

Cons

NO Work life balance- NONE. Corporate doesn't value employee at all. Don't treat you as the professional they hired. Please think twice. Read other reviews. Many people leaving without having another job in place. Value your mental health!! Very Unprofessional.

Pros

An actually interesting product as long as you don't have to work on it, especially if you know the pains of manual HR admin tasks.

Cons

"We run hard" is the company's way of saying legitimately across all departments people are working 12-15 hour days as the STANDARD not the exception. This is not starting at 9, taking an hour for lunch, dinner with the family and pop back online after the kids are asleep. This is people apologizing for being late to internal meetings because they needed to find a minute to go to the bathroom. Hiring managers are making decisions based on if the candidate is likely to tolerate non-stop work not their experience or intelligence. People are not happy except for a few that are leadership's sidekicks.

Pros

Decent benefits Competitive pay Smart & hardworking co-workers who care deeply about the customers

Cons

Where to start... Well, firstly, this company does not value you, or your work life balance. Another reviewer here stated that you can bleed for this place and they wouldn't care, and that's exactly true. There's hard work, and then there's an expectation that your work is your life, and Rippling values the latter. My former manager would slack me sometimes at 1-2am and that wasn't questioned. Huh? Additionally, the scope of the role is unclear, and Rippling is (weirdly) still operating in this start-up mentality where this seems to be fine. But it's not, because it leaves a ton of ambiguity to what your role actually is, and when to get involved. I'm all for collaboration, but when projects keep being shifted your way how are you supposed to prioritize? Lastly, another review mentioned this eerie vibe of false positivity and yes, this permeates all interactions with everyone at the company. Most people are tired and burnt out, but don't feel comfortable saying it, and if you do, watch out because you may have upper management breathing down your throat for not contributing enough. The 2.5 years I spent here were incredibly difficult, and undermined a lot of the confidence I had in myself. I would highly recommend reading through all reviews before you choose to work here.
