Pros

Employees are able to work remotely.

Cons

They only selected El Paso for the abundance of military retirees and spouses whom they can pay wages far below their NJ or overseas counterparts. There is very little actual work to do, but you are held to only two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Lack of actual formal employee training in regards to the different IT positions and tasks.

Pros

Great Benefits, Great learning opportunities, Work from Home. Good as a stepping stone to a position in another company.

Cons

Very few promotions from within. Forget about it if you are over 45. Too quick to outsource work to foreign countries and lay off employees that have been a there a long time. No compensation for extra hours put in by employees on a salary. Extra hours can be up to 15 to 20 per week during peak season which is a few months long.

Pros

140 year old company. Good Values and intention et Senior Executive level.

Cons

Although, Senior executives have the right intentions. There is too much politics and too many poor performers within the next tier below senior leadership (i.e. the Vice President levels). They tend to be poor leaders. They are articulate to Senior leadership, however, there is no follow-up to those that report into them.
