Decent company

Pros

Work/Life balance is strongly supported within my department. They also offer many opportunities to tap into personal development resources. The company culture encourages diversity and social justice and backs their words with dollars .

Cons

Lateral movement is encouraged but not supported- meaning, they talk about it but it doesn’t seem to bare out with the internal job transfer and promotions unless you’re at the top of the org chart. I would like to see more inclusion initiatives that support seeing more women and minorities in C-suite roles.

Average at best

Pros

Can make decent money, but it is only as to how big your network is and whether you want to "sell" to them

Cons

I felt like the opposite of Robin Hood. Trying to keep the clients best interest at heart was hard when the bonus structure is set up for you to bits "goals"

Pros

Good teamwork, benefits package, salary

Cons

You are in trouble if your manager does not like you. He/she may secretly build a file against you. Some bias against older staff members.
