Pros

Large corporation, Lots of perks

Cons

Going thru a culture change, Lots of reorgs. You could land in the wrong area and be a part of a lot of chaos and uncertainty. Or hired by someone who ends up being laid off.

Dubious ethics

Pros

Great life/work balance, easy commute.

Cons

Managers in department use forced ranking encouraging managers to sabotage each other. Use of department reorganization as method for firing minorities and seniors while avoiding lawsuits. After already having determined a hire, HR files job posts to bring in minorities for interviews even though the post is already filled.

Pros

The new building is nice & Newark is making a come back, but its not quite there yet.

Cons

Everyone is scared to take risks or make a mistake. Actually had to get Sr Managenent approval on what type of sandwiches to order for an event. I didnt think the benefits were that great, I had better benefits in the Pharma industry. Very behind the times technologically. A few bad apples at the top ruining the whole bunch. Also very boring culture. Panels of their own Sr. Management addressing the employees is their favorite form of presentation style, yawn...
