Poor management Too much office politics Lots of favouritism; if you’re not in the ‘circle’, you’re not getting promoted Fake promises of promotion after 6 months Training is poor at best Say they’re going to do one thing and then do another

We regret that you feel there are issues with management, office politics, and favouritism within the company. At TravelPerk, we strive to foster an inclusive and fair work environment and take these concerns seriously. We value transparency and meritocracy, and it is disheartening to hear that you perceive a lack of promotion opportunities and a disconnect between promises and actions as the processes are designed to avoid those. We currently have an annual performance review for all employees to recognize performance, reflected through pay appraisals and promotions. Managers get together as a community during our Calibrations process to ensure that there is fairness and consistency throughout Regarding training, we understand the importance of providing our employees with the necessary tools and support to succeed, and we continuously work to enhance our training programs. Your feedback will be shared with the relevant teams, and we will take proactive steps to investigate and address the concerns you have raised. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with us. We are dedicated to making positive changes and ensuring a better experience for our employees.

Pros

Some incredible people to work with. Absolutely made friends in my department.

Cons

- I faced active discrimination that nothing meaningful was done about - Poor behaviour at best ignored, at worst seen as endearing - Lots of people falling up - Ancient in its beliefs around minorities. This is masqueraded as a ‘no politics’ policy but in reality serves to create an unsupportive and bigoted environment. Also doesn’t seem to apply to management.

Pros

Upper-band pay, equity and overall fair compensation

Cons

Sadly, management is ludicrously incompetent and has no interest in building processes. I feel bad for TravelPerk customers- your experience depends on who takes care of your account. Account management leadership is European and takes trips to the us for vacation, very little work done, meetings skipped, coming drunk or hungover to office. Skip this place if you can
