      Pros

      The people are by far the best - most are truly exceptional, high achieving team members. There is a strong culture around rooting out entitlement which proved challenging through scale, but is largely in place. There is a dedicated Community team who drive great experiences for staff, including amazing Summer and Winter parties.

      Cons

      Hypergrowth + ultra fast-paced working + extremely high expectations = not the right environment for everyone. More has been done to equip the business with the tools to manage this, but for a long time this just led to employee burnout which is still rife. Most people can only put up with it for so long before it becomes too much. A strong 3 day a week office mandate, which is not suitable for many people. No annual bonus available on most roles which is atypical, SOPs usually available but you have to buy them at end of tenure or lose out - which is unrealistic unless you're in a very senior role.

      Pros

      TravelPerk has a distinctly youthful culture that fosters a strong sense of ownership and agency. From day one you're encouraged to take lead on high-impact initiatives. You're free to experiment (to a reasonable extent) and you're actually expected to innovate. Other than this our Barcelona office it's an amazing space to spend time. Every week end with a company-wide get-together over drinks. There are plenty of events too.

      Cons

      Working with top talent might lead to overly ambitious expectations of yourself.
