Pros

The company is well known. If you have a good and caring supervisor that knows what’s going on you might have a good run.

Cons

Liberty does the bare minimum to look as though they are a good place to work, it’s not! Liberty doesn’t pay employees that are in the path of hurricanes time off to prepare or evacuate. This is one of the only companies in Florida that does this. (The only other I know is progressive) What’s more annoying is while not giving any pay if you feel your not safe and have to take off they send a email that “yours and your families safety is their top priority.” Yeah right! Because now you have to decided, do I want to gamble with my life and stay so I can work or leave and possibly not be able to pay my rent at the end of the month. Not a very human company. LM makes billions in profit every year, to not pay your employees (that don’t even get sick pay) for the couple of days that there’s a major hurricane is despicable. LM also boasts tuition reimbursement as a benefit. Good luck using it! I’ve had several reviews always meeting metrics and still they want more before I can qualify for tuition reimbursement. It’s completely up to your manager so if they don’t like you, don’t even bother.

Don’t get sick

Pros

Pay is ok, if your in a higher position you can also flex up to two hours of your work week with out using PTO.

Cons

PTO sucks, if you get sick you are screwed. The companies says any days you didn’t have time for are unexcused, and three unexcused absence stay with you for TWO YEARS. So if you get very sick in the begging of the year, you are sol. It also doesn’t matter if you are physically incapable of doing your job and they send you home. You will still get an occurrence. You could be a picture perfect employee. Doesn’t matter. Back when people were in office, everyone would start coming in to work sick around October because everyone was out of sick time (you stop getting time in October). People were afraid to be a couple minutes late because that was occurrence. Also it doesn’t matter if you do a good job on 99% if things. If you have one low stat expect to hear about it until you die or they fire you for poor performance. And no they will not wait more then a day after you come back from bereavement to threaten your job. No I’m not joking. I got I’m sorry for your loss- shape you or you’re also fired if we don't like your numbers.
