Pros

Good business model. Lots of opportunity. Strong investments in people. Good brand name. Great if you are analytical and young. A great place to start your career.

Cons

VERY political (especially the US consumer markets business). If you are over 40 years old, you won't get promoted. "Talent mobility" is only for the young. The perfect candidate is 33 years old with 25 years of experience!

Pros

pay is okay, but is it really worth it to come work at a job you absolutely hate? they can only entice you with financial incentives before you find out how sad your life becomes...

Cons

I am currently enrolled in their "fast track to leadership" program called Corporate Development Program (CDP). What a joke, you are basically a post-MBA intern with no real work, influence, or ability to leave the company if you end up not liking it. They basically own you for a few years or you have to give back your bonus. Your assignment managers could care less about you since you are in each role for 6 months before you move on. If you've always wanted to join a soul-sucking, lifeless job with no real outcome in life, apply here!

Not a good time to work for them

Pros

Decent pay and good benefits overall

Cons

The new CEO and CIO are trying to put their own print on things and therefore the everday person is suffering. Numerous rounds of layoffs, tons of uncertainty, complete lack of transparency at all levels of management where you feel like they're purposefully hiding things from employees, and the C-suite is especially hypocritical in their words and actions when it comes to "caring about the employee", "work life balance", and listening to feedback.
