Pros

Informal; casual regular events to improve interest and aptitude for branding friendly (for the most part)

Cons

Some employees have a sense of entitlement specially the sorority types They treat freelancers shabbily; and sometimes pay is delayed New CFO is turning things and procedures a bit. He is good but the changes are disconcerting. Promotions are not structural and are based on those who have a say. In short you have to suck up..

Pros

Brands that they do not deserve. Big projects and awesome clients. Some super, wicked smart and creative people being abused on a daily basis. Learn a lot by doing but not from actual training which is promised. That is saved for the elite beautiful people in the Interbrand University. Trying not to laugh. They so think they are so above everyone else.

Cons

Just too many cons now. Senior management only care about their bonuses and profit. Creatives have been beaten down and Interns do so much of the work because the time sheet and financial sheet is the God at Interbrand. Account team does not care about anything but themselves and thier families and only work 80% and there is no strategy team any more. The people doing the work in design and production are treated like slaves. Morale is at an all time low and clients are starting to smell the rotten core. A place for favorites and old white men with no ideas but how to count money. USA is fragmented and disgusting, Europe is a joke and Asia has no idea what it s doing. People are leaving all the time and do not get replaced. Families and private life? Kiss that good bye while upper management want more more more with more expenssive cars and vacations for themselves. No 401K match and that is just the tip of the iceberg. But we do have a new ping pong table. I would not tell anyone to work here and like everyone else am looking for a way out. Like so many before me I have been betrayed, abused, coned, lied to and mentally tortured all for the benefit of the top 1% who cheat and lie every day. Apply for a job here after reading this then you are a fool. Just read the other reviews! Landor, Wolf Olin's, Brand Union and Futurebrand have nothing like this on their reviews.

Pros

The creative and strategic staff up to Director level were uniformly excellent and it was always exciting to come into work, with huge clients, plenty of fresh ideas and a friendly, brainy atmosphere. (In London! Paris was weird, New York demoralising.) Obviously it is fun to work with some of the bigger names. There was also a decent amount of travel. And the team approach to projects meant you were always learning. The Utopia Cafe was a major plus. Food at Interbrand London was a daily delight thanks to the cooks!

Cons

Interbrand is clueless about digital and getting worse. There were several junior staff who knew exactly how the web worked but their insights were wasted or at best, gave a gloss to Powerpoint presentations about brand identity. Proper, forward-looking agencies know that although digital is difficult and confusing - it is now the core of brand management! Sticking a Facebook App into your suggestions list does not cut the mustard. Generally, the place is also a bit of a sweatshop. Senior managers conspire to put every single project on a two week turnaround. Only the most heroic Creative Directors would use their own foresight to get us in shape over a longer time period. I think the approach was dictated by a fundamental arrogance. There are great people at Interbrand, therefore senior managers expected us to produce great work no matter what the constraints of time and budget. As a result, we did some amazing projects of which I am truly proud, working all day and night - and we did some really embarrassing rubbish. There's nothing more dispiriting than slipshod work.
