Pros

Good salary and great team mates

Cons

Pressure, pressure, pressure. Performance driven through fear. No real concern for the unemployed. It's all about money and targets They have lost sight of Ingeus' initial vision. I can truly say, leaving was the best decision. When I finally left after 4 years it was like getting out of prison. Everyone in my team who worked there when I did has left, the majority this year. Anyone thinking of working here, don't. You will live to regret it.

Awful place to work

Pros

Getting paid a decent salary, although I understand all salaries are being lowered.

Cons

The job is sold to you as "rewarding" and "helping people" but for the most part, advisors are made to bully their clients into accepting jobs they don't want in order to hit their own targets. Managers are VERY inexperienced, unhelpful and have no idea what they are doing. There is absolutely no scope to progress there and most of the clients really are the dregs of society - rude, lazy, dirty and with no ambition or drive.

Pros

NONE bar a few decent employees

Cons

Dont listen to them when they say you will be helping people gain long term sustainable employment.Be prepared to try and shove clients into any job going, ever changing targets which are achievable given that most of your clients will have been unemployed for at least a year ( there are some who havent worked in 23yrs) or clients that are on ESA and cannot work. The left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing half the time with group-work being cancelled on the day its due to take place. If a client misses an appointment you are supposed to S2S9 them which will stop their benefit but how doe that help engagement with someone who has been treated like crap for years in the JBO??
