Pros

Decent pay Can work from home once in a while (these incentives may sounds good during an interview...but read on)

Cons

Insane Design Management Significant Bullying - Really..it's bad Request manager to fire an employee because the director didnt like this person (not because of performance) The director says I like your work, and then talk poorly about it to other people If you go on an interview, the director is multi-tasking..CONSTANTLY. Complaints to upper management and HR goes unheard High Stress, no direction, constant changing of scope and then you are to blame ZERO Trust in Employees Constant monitoring Management 101 issues - Look at any article on bad management, and this person hits every one Severe Mood Shifts Your Glass is never half-full..ok it's a nice way to say your intelligence is always in question Micromanages EVERYTHING Everyday you feel like you might get fired

Pros

There are ample opportunities to grow and learn at Humana. I had my main official position in QA, but there were multiple opportunities provided for me. I was temporary team lead, project manager, consultant, reporting, programming, trainer, enrollment guide, and the list goes on and on! Loved the opportunities to grow and learn, to be able to enhance our work environment with the tasks we revamped and created!

Cons

With all the opportunities provided, I was still at an entry level position and when the time came for the annual incentive bonus or my raise, it was humiliating. By the time the deductions for their part was taken, it was less than my bi-weekly payroll check. I kept a total of how much money the company was making from my contributions and savings, and they could easily have compensated me fairly for my loyalty, time, and contributions to the company.

Pros

I have had a lot of love for this company for many years. They go out of their way to offer employees so many extra perks to assist in staying healthy. The pay is superior to what you will make in other settings. The healthy insurance and PTO is decent compared to what other companies offer.

Cons

Nothing matters anymore but the numbers. Salaried workers are being asked to do more and more work while quality slips away. All that matters is hitting call targets and getting surveys done. Call times must be long enough but not too long. If people don't want to participate we call them again to attempt to get them to change their minds. If you don't answer your phones we call you at every phone number we can find over and over again. If you are lucky enough to get a decent coach the job might be tolerable, but you will still feel micro-managed. This is a nurse telemarketing job.
