      Senior management are clueless. All focus is on achieving the numbers dictated by the private equity owner so that the business can be sold again at a profit

      Thank you for sharing your view on HKA as you posted back in June 2019. Your post is important and deserves a reply. I am sorry we are only just replying to you now. I was sad to read your post and I am sorry you feel this way about HKA. I respect that this is your view and you posted in June 2019; so much has evolved since that time. I joined HKA in April 2020 and in the eight months I have been here; I do see HKA differently to your view back in June 2019. Of course that difference may be explained by a number of factors, including the time difference. I can only hope that you are still at HKA and you too are seeing/feeling all of the improvements we continue to make around our three strategic objectives of our Clients, our People and our business performance. Do always feel free to reach out to me if you would like to share your experience further; and I am most willing to listen – my work email is katewood@hka.com In my time at HKA for over eight months I have seen tremendous passion, care and improvement action for HKA employees from the leaders across the HKA family. I have also observed that colleagues across the globe speak up with their opinions that are listened to, collaborate together to support and help each other. Our people are the difference that has taken HKA to an even better place. I joined during a lockdown pandemic in April 2020 and the care I have seen to protect and support health and wellbeing of our colleagues is huge and a first priority. We also asked all our colleagues globally if HKA was supporting them during this pandemic and the survey results that came back were extremely positive. I truly believe we have a great Company with brilliant people. We are on a progressive journey of improvement and we are not complacent as there are areas where we need and want to improve. Part of our continuous improvement journey, now includes us reviewing every post on Glassdoor, as all opinions matter and we want to listen and learn and respect everyone by replying.       outstanding leadership and executive management - very focused on the new company's core values, transparency, and fairness; a new company also needs a few years to shake-down process and procedure and get it right; the firm is looking to grow 50% over the next 5 years - big growth plans for the company translates into good opportunities for career development and growth for strong performers; employees here are all-stars and HKA asks a lot from them; I like everyone I've met from this company - they seem to be quite pleased with being here and where the firm is headed;

      Cons

      don't expect to work 40-hour work weeks if your goal is to be a star and move up fast; those with multiple languages and willing to travel (not me) are getting excellent opportunities; competitive but also collaborative - working here demands your A game - it's not for coasters;

      Thank you so much for recommending HKA and giving 5 stars with a positive outlook. I note you posted in May 2018 as a current Senior Manager. Firstly sincere apologies that we are only now replying to your post. As you will know HKA has evolved and improved much since then and one of our continuous improvements programmes is to reply to all of our posts on Glassdoor. Your Pros listed in May 2018 are most positive and optimistic for the future. I agree with your Cons, that working hard does pay off in HKA and that can mean more that 40 hours a week - I know we also care about the health and wellbeing of our people; so long hours are not sustainable . I was also delighted to read that you saw HKA has collaborative, which is my experience too. Thank you also for your Advice to Management around defining Partner Track and employee benefits - all very sensible and constructive points. I know we have improved in those areas since you posted last. You will know that HKA is not a complacent firm and we push the boundaries for continuous improvement. I can still see room for us to improve and as everyone collaborates and we have brilliant people; we make big leaps regularly. Thank you for your help.
