Thank you for your feedback and appreciation of our work-life balance. Our senior leaders are exceptionally transparent and there is 2-way communication with all teams across multiple channels at weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings. Their decisions are data driven, made in conjunction with the relevant departments, documented and open for all employees to see - and they have led Frontiers to become one of the largest and most impactful publishers in the world.

We’re pleased to hear you appreciate our work-from-home options. We'd like to clarify that our performance framework is 100% meritocratic and every employee has individual targets to monitor their contributions. Please reach out to your manager or People Business Partner to clarify this. Our management team holds extensive business knowledge and industry experience, and have led Frontiers to become one of the largest and most impactful publishers on our mission to make science open.

Thank you sharing for your feedback - we're happy to hear you enjoyed the progression opportunities at Frontiers. Your thoughts about communication are noted but we use a lot of different communication channels, from weekly MS Teams posts to monthly leadership updates, an internal newsletter, monthly OKR reviews, quarterly department reviews, open doors sessions with senior leaders, and our quarterly company-wide meeting. Individual managers also cascade information through weekly team meetings, monthly department meetings, and 1:1s. We would definitely like to understand better what is missing so if you're interested, please reach out to: feedback.ta@frontiersin.org.
