Pros

- Colleagues: Frontiers has a great diverse workforce with amazing people who are amongst the most lovely I worked with.

Cons

The company laid off 600+ employees and completely wiped out some critical functions. Entire locations have been cut off, drastically reducing the diversity of the workforce and losing incredible talents. The company is heading towards a continued cost-cutting exercise before being probably sold to a competitor. All the responsibilities lie with inexperience and empire-building Senior Management who have made all the decisions wrong on how to scale the business, the team, or the technologies. There's nothing left anymore, and you will be better off avoid joining this pit of dispair.

Making layoffs is always the last resort and these decisions have, of course, not been taken lightly. The measures taken ensure that we are financially stable and can continue to work towards our important mission. If you wish to continue the conversation, please contact your People Business Partner.

Pros

- Fully remote - Decent salary - Private health insurance - Lovely colleagues (at the lower levels)

Cons

- No real strategy - No willingness to actually listen to employees - Complete lack of awareness of what researchers truly need and deserve - Numbers over everything - Quantity over quality - No real interest in actually making science open
