      Great experience at FileCloud

      Pros

      I can’t recommend working at FileCloud highly enough. I was fortunate to have a top-tier manager who was incredibly supportive and invested in my development, teaching me a great deal over the years and giving me the confidence to take ownership of my work. The leadership team, including the CEO, is approachable and genuinely leads from the front, setting a clear vision while remaining accessible to employees at all levels. The company is fully remote, which provides real flexibility and trust in employees to manage their time effectively. There is a strong culture of collaboration and accountability, and people are encouraged to contribute ideas and grow in their roles. Compensation is competitive, and there are meaningful opportunities to learn new skills, take on responsibility, and progress professionally. Overall, it’s a positive, supportive environment with talented colleagues and leadership that values both performance and people. I’m grateful for my time there and the experience I gained.

      Cons

      FileCloud is fully remote, which I personally loved, but at times you do miss the day-to-day human interaction that comes with working in an office. That said, the team makes a strong effort to stay connected through regular meetings and collaboration.

      A warning to high performers: leadership politics will crush you here

      Pros

      FileCloud has a strong product with real market demand. This was particularly true under the former management 3–4 years ago.

      Cons

      High performers are consistently pushed out. The company removes the people who actually deliver revenue. Decisions are driven by ego, fear, and insecurity rather than market logic. Reporting is manipulated, voices are silenced, and uncomfortable truths disappear before reaching executives or investors. If you’re someone who brings results, has ideas, or speaks honestly you will not last here. If you are a top performer, ambitious, and someone who delivers strong results, the company’s leadership politics will block you, undermine you, or push you out.
