Pros

Decent office space and canteen. Unfortunately cannot think of anything else.

Cons

One of the worst companies I have worked for in my 10 years of career. The only way to progress in this organisation is by playing dirty politics. Finance is the worst department to be within CCEP. If you are a newbie in the organisation, then the only way to keep yourself is by playing the political game. The work life balance is very poor, unless you have been there for like 20 years or so.. Starting from HR, to management, to senior managers, everyone is part of a game. If they dislike you, then will do anything to get you out of there. They are very unethical and tend to make false statements. So kindly think before you join the organisation, especially if you plan to join Finance.

Pros

* Big brands * Nice enough HQ * Good CV fodder

Cons

Coca-Cola is a place where careers die unless you're somehow in the selected few. Despite the word transparency thrown around like confetti, this is a closed shop: If you fit, very well, but if you don't then expect your career to grind to an awful stop. Some career paths are beautifully mapped but for others -- sadly, myself included -- I was in a career dead-end and despite years of pushing for change, nothing happened. Managers in my view are rewarded for managing upwards and not down. In short, don't expect coaching or support because it simply won't happen. There's also an ingrained arrogance about the state of the company from leadership. Damian (the new CEO) habitually applauds anything from the German business unit. Pay is not great because "this is Coca-Cola -- it doesn't get better than this". Lastly, the products. This company has rested on its laurels for years -- YEARS. This is a company that believes innovation is a new flavour variant of Coke. At a time when the products are being (rightfully) vilified for their contribution to obesity, the company has done pretty much nothing in 10 years (since Coke Zero launch) to positively innovate. We therefore see declining markets and profits only through increased 'cost efficiency'. It's just not good enough.
