Pros

I have to enter 5 words but seriously ,there are none any longer.

Cons

The claims department is a sweatshop. Management openly demand the expectation of working 24/7, travel at a moments notice to work CAT or handle claims and no work/life balance. Evan Greenberg has handed the reins of claims over to the home office terror "tower" which has many senior claim members leaving. The mass exodus is palpable. Vendor payments are winnowed or non-existent as Chubb no longer wants to authorize any vendor use. After all, someone has to repay the shareholders for the purchase of Chubb so the budget is not just flat, it's subterranean. The mood is bleak. They are actually calling claims staff who left to see if they want to come back, that's how desperate it has become. If you are a customer or considering it, don't.

Pros

Company used to be full of incredible people. Mangers were compassionate, helpful, leaders of the industry. Customer service was the topmost priority, at any cost. Atmosphere was very familial and welcoming. Some incredible people worked here, great leaders, great team members. The brain-drain is real.

Cons

This company has changed completely. They left lower level managers alone for the most part, but shook up the top levels entirely. This way the employees didn't spook at sweeping changes as easily. Lower level managers seem way more stressed out, and they are all losing their offices in favor of a "flat management" style, where only VPs get offices now, everyone else is relegated to a cube. It's all about metrics now, a complete meritocracy where being a cutthroat jerk is rewarded.

Pros

The PTO bank is decent

Cons

Where to start? - so many layers of useless middle management - they will crow about how much money we’re making and NOT share it with the people that make it for them - the antiquated systems were forced to muddle through and that have weekly system issues - again, not profit sharing - the pay is laughable (unless you count getting extra work from those who don’t pull their weight as payment. Cuz then you’ll be richer than you ever dreamed!)
