Pros

I can not think of a single thing I liked about this place. A definite soul-sucker.

Cons

Get ready to enter the time machine back to High School....Immaturity and incompetence is what the Ministry Service Center is all about.

Pros

Some of the nurses genuinely love their job and care for the patients you can tell who is around just for a paycheck and who is around because they love what they do. The PTO and tuition reimbursement is reasonable.

Cons

Management doesn’t listen to concerns and there is zero support. You will be expected to do insurance authorization for 25% less than the market rate for that job. Instead of doing what a physical rehab rehabilitation aide is supposed to do. Why is department productivity placed in the responsibility of an entry-level? You will also be trained by a passive aggressive woman that has no business being a mentor. You can prove her wrong in something and she will find a way to make it your fault and that you are still incorrect. Easily one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had. Not only in the medical field, but in any field. This place has single-handedly made me rethink my career path.

Pros

It really gives you a chance to figure out how to develop healthy coping skills for the amount of stress you will.be put through

Cons

*wasn't given adequate time to pump (had to do it during my lunch) *at least I got lunches when I was pumping, after I dried up, no lunches became more frequent. *no breaks *constant busy work/micromanaging *regular phone calls/text messages about work from direct supervisor on days off/vacation *mean girl mentality was allowed and encouraged by middle managent. *director level managent was never around, and when present would say A on Monday then completely contridict themselves on Tuesday by saying B with a straight face. *management did not value your personal time, or expect you to have a life outside work. *was expected to come to work while contagious *low pay *refuses to adequately staff for employee/patient safety *you couldn't turn a corner without being smacked in the face with a quote on the wall about empathy, love and compassion. But you know what they say, those who preach it the loudest, practice it the least... And they were loud. *I was there for 2 years, but felt like I aged 10.
