I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Rippling
Interview
HR call, 1 hour technical/coding round followed by HM call. 3 onsite rounds with 2 coding and 1 design. Overall good experience as there were very little to none gotcha/leetcode style questions and were more practical.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Week 1, Recruiter phone screen: just pitched their rapid growth and how much $ they've raised.15 minutes kind of a joke as I didn't gain anything out of it but just felt they are desperate to fill seats.
Week 2, 2nd round with the hiring manager: this was rough, the manager didn't really have a good grasp on what the position actually does.
Week 3, 3rd round team interview: 3 out of 4 people were not even on the team, they were in other departments, not even departments that this position would have a lot of interactions with I don't think. The person that was actually on the team spend the entire time reviewing what they do, and not really what this position would do or how my qualifications meet what they are looking for. Very informal.
Then I was GHOSTED, not a single person took the time to follow up after I was informed they should have an answer by the end of the week.
Overall, I feel like I dodged a bullet if their internal processes are such a mess I'm totally fine with passing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not many questions relevant to the job at all. Just a lot of talk about who they are, how they're rapidly growing quoting dollars raised. Even noted how they are not like Zenefits (CEO's former company he was pushed out of. for doing some not so legal things.)
I applied online. I interviewed at Rippling (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2021
