I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Prudential
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter, we set up a phone interview. Mostly it was just explaining my background and them talking about the position in detail. We then scheduled a meet and greet interview for the location nearest to me. Went in for an interview, generally simple questions and more explanation about the position. Had to complete long form questions online, then a project 200 assignment. Didn't really want to do the project 200, since it involves me selling products and services to people I know. This is how you get started first, before they provide you with clients. I decided that i did not want to continue on with the application process or third round interview. If you do not mind this, then by all means try for this position. If you put in the time and long hours, you can probably make decent money from premiums.
I applied online. I interviewed at Prudential (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Pretty much a standard interview process. They want you to reveal your top 50 personal network. Have to call on your Family and friends to promote your agenda. the Brand is you and your ability to nag your network to purchase Insurance and Financial Products for them. A very high turnover business
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Prudential (Portsmouth, NH) in Dec 2012
Interview
Cursory overview of job functions, background check, drug screening. Flexible training schedule, can prepare for certification exams while still in school. Amicable and accommodating recruiting personnel. Excellent experience all around.
