I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Octopus Energy (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview process was different to previous job interviews. I really enjoyed speaking with Octopus Energy employees from different departments. They gave me a more in depth understanding of the company and its mission.
I liked that all candidates were assigned someone to help them with the interview process.
Aasimah assisted me and she went above and beyond to ensure I was ready for my group interview and for the tests.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Octopus Energy (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2021
Interview
The process as a whole was around 4 weeks. My journey started with a call from a recruiter, where you discuss the role and a little about yourself. Shortly after I was given an online Maths and Literacy test. Once that was completed I was invited to attend a virtual Discovery day where together with other candidates I had to complete different tasks, this was fun and every member made you feel relaxed. After that a Final interview and a job offer.
I couldn’t have done it without the helpful Aasimah (my recruiter) whom was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the whole process.
Overall I thought it was a unique and fun process throughout. From getting to know everyone with an icebreaker, splitting the teams for every task was also fun, as well as little by little learning more about the company from each employee and the company’s goals. Overall the best interview process I have attended.

Interview
The interview process is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary. It tried to be. Revolutionary but absurd. Experience counts for nothing. It’s a telephone competency interview followed by 2 online tests , then a 4 hour assessment day , then another half hour interview. All this for a salary of 20k!! They ‘don’t look at CVs’ so if you have management experience don’t bother as it’s basically inexperienced kids they’re looking for. An absolute awful company to interview for. I’d definitely avoid
