I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (New York, NY) in May 2016
Interview
I met with 6 people over 2 different days for about 45 minutes. The schedule was sent to me ahead of time and the interviews were punctual.
Criteo also moved the process along pretty quickly and I was in clear communication with the recruiter throughout.
One of the better interview processes I've been through.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (Barcelona) in Mar 2016
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn:
1. Stage: The process started a couple of days later with a phone call from the HR. This ~40 min conversation involved some general questions about my CV and expectations, followed by a detailed description of the offered role.
2. Stage: After the first phone interview I had to complete a practical test within 2 days (basic JavaScript and MySQL questions).
3. Stage: One day after I finished the test I got a positive feedback and another call to inform me that they would like to invite me to a video interview with a group leader and the manager. In advance I got an email with information and tips regarding the interview (how to prepare). The interview itself was scheduled within the same week and was based on the previous technical test. Within one hour various technical questions have been asked about the test, JavaScript and MySQL in general. Despite that, they asked about general information about the company, competitors, the role...
4. Stage: In this stage I was invited to have another video interview with a manager and the VP of operations. This interview was focused on my motivation why I want to work for Criteo, why do I want to work in Barcelona ...
5. Stage: An official offer from Criteo
During the whole process the HR team was very responsive and tried to answer all my questions (via email or phone calls). The whole process was very nice and friendly!

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (Miami, FL) in Oct 2015
Interview
I was contacted online by a recruiter, whom I spoke with twice by phone. Firstly, I was sent a PDF with exercises relevant to the job, including web debugging, JavaScript and general website questions. You have to turn this in within a certain period of time, and then it is reviewed for approval.
Then, after my answers were approved, I had two sets of three-people interviews on-site, followed by a call with a manager, all over the period of approximately two weeks. So in total, I had 7 interviews. Some of them were on-site but with people via VC.
The interview questions varied from brain teasers, to behavioral questions, to Criteo's business model questions, to JavaScript questions. In essence, they ask about the things you need to understand to be able to work at Criteo.
