Interview
Online assessments (Verbal reasoning & Maths test) which took around half an hour.
Then invited to an interview which could book at own convenience which I thought was great.
Face to face interview was very difficult! Some bizarre questions that are designed to put you on the spot. Glad I attended for experience but felt like that I was given the opportunity to talk about my skills/experience due to nature of questions.

Don't know what else I can do!!Worked for Barclays for 16 years from leaving school. Can I heck get back in. 35 years of Customer Service working, 5 of that in a call centre. Could it be my age?????
Have had 2 interviews with them now. I prepared better the 2nd time, but still failed.

Interview
Process was straightforward. Online application followed by assessment then a telephone interview and an interview on-site.
On-site interview was a little tricky as the interview questions I'd been told by the recruiters as preparation were different to what was asked on the day.
With the start date being close to the interview date, I chased them up after a short-while and was promised callbacks, although shortly after I received an email stating I had been unsuccessful. I requested feedback, which was promised, although the recruiters and Barclays went silent and ignored my requests
The job seemed like a good position and the benefits were decent, although I couldn't recommend Barclays based on the fact that they adopt this culture of failing to follow up on interviews, despite promises of feedback.
